Shanghai Cable Research Institute Co., Ltd. organized the preparation of the national standard of "Internet of Things Identification System Ecode Identification Application Guide (Wire and Cable)" and the launching meeting of the first batch of application of Ecode code construction quality traceability system in Guizhou on July 19, 2021. Li Yanxia, director of the quality work department of China Machinery Industry Federation, Li Jianhua, director of the Internet of things Research Office of China article coding Center, Jiang Bin, general manager of Shanghai Cable Research Institute Co., Ltd., and other leaders and experts attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
Director Li Yanxia said in her speech that since the "Xi'an Metro cable problem incident" in 2017, the state has further strengthened the product quality supervision of the wire and cable industry and the market, and the overall quality of the industry has been significantly improved. After investigating the current situation and development of the industry, China Machine Union has promoted the establishment of a quality traceability platform based on the Internet of Things, covering the production data, quality data, anti-counterfeiting identification, online monitoring, quality management and other contents of wire and cable, aiming to build the core competitiveness of enterprises with digital strategy and help the high-quality development of the cable industry.
Director Li Jianhua said that the China Item Coding Center is affiliated to the State Administration of Market Supervision. In December 2019, the center signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Cable Research Institute Co., Ltd. to jointly promote the application of Ecode logo in the cable industry. The center will do a good job in technical support, so that the cable industry quality traceability standards rise to national standards, international standards, with standard language to lead and enhance the development of the industry, to explore a new way of China's industrial product quality traceability.
General Manager Jiang Bin said that on the road of China's development from a manufacturing power to a manufacturing power, under the background of high-quality development and the great wave of international industrial Internet, it is one of the important tasks at present to explore and promote the construction of a quality traceability system in line with China's national regulatory system, the current situation of cable manufacturing industry and the characteristics of market management. Today's meeting laid an important foundation for China's cable industry to explore and carry out the construction of quality traceability system. This work is currently organized by Shanghai Cable Research Institute, and more than ten enterprises such as Guda Wire and Cable (Group) Co., Ltd. and Jinbei Electric Hengyang Cable Company have participated in the trial work. The follow-up will further promote platform mutual trust and mutual recognition, display a good image of the enterprise, show the main responsibility and social responsibility of the enterprise, and form a good situation of win-win situation for society, enterprises and users.
At the end of 2020, the National Standardization Management Committee issued a notice of the fourth batch of recommended national standard plans in 2020, and included the "Internet of Things Identification System Ecode Identification Application Guide Part 2: Wire and Cable and Fiber Optic Cable" in the national standard formulation plan. Shanghai Cable Research Institute Co., Ltd. has compiled the draft standards through preliminary research and industry data collection. At the same time, it has actively promoted the first batch of more than 10 enterprises in the industry, including Guda Cable Group, to carry out the "first trial" work of Ecode logo, to promote the construction of quality traceability system in the industry, and to further help improve the product quality in the industry.
Li Haojie, CEO of Guda Cable Group, said in his speech that Guda took the initiative to adapt to the new situation and participated in the establishment of a wire and cable quality management analysis platform on the basis of establishing a sound quality management system. An intelligent Internet of Things manufacturing system "Lean Manufacturing APS Management System" based on the concept of big data management and control has been built. The system has opened up the data chain of the sales end, production end and equipment end of the enterprise, realized the real-time dynamic check and control of the material cost and labor cost of cable manufacturing, and realized the dynamic display capability of the digital workshop.
As the first Ecode trial unit in the domestic wire and cable industry, Guda will apply Ecode in the whole production process in 2019, and the company has established a comprehensive quality traceability system to integrate information from the whole process of raw material procurement, product production and circulation and remit it to the database of China Item Coding Center. The product realizes the traceability of information, which is equivalent to establishing an electronic ID card for the product, which not only protects the rights and interests of consumers, but also improves the intelligent manufacturing level of enterprises.
At the meeting, many experts made keynote speeches. Zhang Gang of Coding Center introduced the application and sharing of Ecode identification technology. Mao Qingchuan, chief expert of Shanghai Cable Research Institute Co., Ltd., introduced the technical research on the application of Ecode in cables. Tang Guiliang, Executive Deputy General Manager of Jinbei Electrician, introduced the implementation and application of Ecode. Ding Fei, General Manager of Shanghai Cable New Information Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the construction of digital guarantee capability of cable industry quality traceability system; mao Axing, deputy general manager of Shanghai National Cable Testing Co., Ltd., introduced the relevant situation of the draft standard. Experts and representatives attending the meeting, such as China Southern Power Grid, State Grid Liaoning Electric Power Company, Electrical Branch of China Architectural Society, and wire and cable industry associations, discussed the necessity of drafting the standard, the text of the draft standard, and the arrangement of the follow-up work plan, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions. Participants agreed that the preparation of standards plays a very important role in helping enterprises to implement intelligent manufacturing, helping the transformation and upgrading of the industry and high-quality development. At the meeting, a standard preparation working group was established and the standard formulation work was fully initiated. At the same time, the launching ceremony of the first batch of application of Ecode code to build a quality traceability system was held.
During the meeting, the participants also went to Guda Company to visit and exchange the application of Ecode code in cable production management.

State Grid Liaoning Electric Power Company, China Southern Power Grid Company, National Petroleum and Natural Gas Pipeline Network Group, Shanghai Shentong Metro Group, CRRC Qingdao Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock and other user representatives, National Special Wire and Cable Quality Inspection Center (Anhui), Guizhou Province Building Material Product Quality Inspection and Testing Institute, Guizhou Province Mechanical and Electronic Product Quality Inspection and Testing Institute and other testing institutions, as well as Guangdong, Shandong, Hubei, Hebei, Zhejiang wire and cable industry associations and Far East cable, Jiangsu Zhongtian, Jiangsu Hengtong and other industry enterprise representatives nearly 100 people attended the meeting.
