What technology is used to deal with mine high-voltage rubber sleeve cable joints

The high-voltage power transmission of the main mining equipment in the iron ore quarry adopts the UCF-6kV type high-voltage rubber-sheathed cable for mining. Because the sealing, insulation performance and mechanical strength of the regular insertion and binding methods can not meet the relevant technical requirements, frequent grounding, short circuit and blasting of cable joints occur frequently in rainy days, which has become a long-term problem in the production operation of the mining field. Through repeated investigation of the treatment methods of high-voltage rubber-sheathed cable joints in other mines, combined with the actual situation of the mine stope, they finally decided to adopt cold-fill vulcanization technology to treat the high-voltage rubber-sheathed cable joints in mines. ⑴ Mine high pressure

Talking about the practice of dry-wrapped wire cable head and heat-shrinkable cable head

There are many kinds of indoor cable heads, including indoor dry-pack type, heat-shrinkable type, paper-insulated pouring type, etc. However, the general low-voltage power distribution project is used in dry-pack and heat-shrinkable. Dry package type: the material is only high-voltage adhesive tape, phase color adhesive tape, plastic tape, connection terminals, etc., which are directly wound manually, and there is no additional protection on the cable core. Heat shrinkable terminal head: plastic gloves, plastic heat shrinkable tube, phase tube, wiring terminals, etc. are all heat shrinkable with alcohol blowtorch. First shrink tube, then shrink gloves, phase tube, crimping terminal. Different from the dry bag type, the heat-shrinkable type has a higher protection level and more core wires.

Discussion on the Difference between National Standard Cable and Non-standard Cable

In the choice of cable to choose according to their own site use of the cable, do not covet cheap. I think that the cable is cheap and can be guaranteed to be a national standard. Nine times out of ten, it is a side ball. Fool unprofessional do not understand the industry users. In order to enable the majority of users to more clearly understand the quality standards of cables and wires and self-judgment of the difference between national standards and non-standard. Below we combine the actual situation that engineering users and cable industry often encounter, let everyone do a simple understanding. Cable wires are generally used in engineering users and construction projects. These three kinds of cables mainly appear: 1. National standard cables: according to the relevant cable standards issued by the state

Heat-resistant wire and cable technical questions and answers

In the development of low-voltage heat-resistant wire and cable, usually fall into the choice of what kind of heat-resistant conductor, insulation materials, sheath structure and heat-resistant wire and cable use environment and methods into confusion. This article refers to the opinions of foreign heat-resistant wire and cable experts to give a brief answer to these questions. Q 1: If the continuous rated temperature of FEP (commonly known as Teflon-fluorinated ethylene propylene copolymer) and silicone rubber insulated cables are both 200°C, what is the difference? Which material is better for the same application? A: FEP Teflon is a thermoplastic that will melt again when exposed to high enough temperatures.

Discussion on DC Withstand Voltage Test of High Voltage Cable

With the advancement of the national "West-East Power Transmission" and "South-North Power Transmission" projects, high-voltage DC cables will become the main force in application. The large-scale access of new energy and the cable construction of urban transmission require the application of high-voltage DC cables. HVDC cable is the only means of transmission for offshore wind power and offshore islands. High-voltage and ultra-high-voltage cables have become indispensable materials in modern urban power grid projects. However, the field of high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage cables in my country started late, and materials, equipment and manufacturing technologies have long relied on introduction and imitation. Let's talk about the main problems of DC withstand voltage test for high-voltage cables.

Control Method for Anti-oxidation of Copper Conductor of Cable

Metal copper has an atomic number of 29, a density of 8.92g/cm3 and a melting point of 1083.4 ℃, and has good thermal and electrical conductivity. However, in humid air, the surface of metal copper chemically reacts with oxygen to generate Cu2(OH)2CO3, I .e. patina green. Usually, copper oxidation in cable manufacturers mostly shows blackening of the surface. It is the existence of this phenomenon of surface oxidation of cable copper conductors that troubles many cable enterprises. In our daily production observation and a large amount of data research, we found that through the selection of high-quality copper rods, effective control of the drawing process and emulsion concentration and temperature, passivation treatment of copper conductor stranded or stranded copper wire.

What are the types of high voltage power cable connectors?

The high-voltage power cable connecting head is used for the connection of the power cable itself, including connecting joints, insulating intermediate joints, and plug-type joints for oil-filled power cables and steel pipe power cables. 1. Ordinary connector head It is used to connect two adjacent power cables. In the high-voltage power cable line, in addition to connecting the cable core conductor to ensure electrical communication, the straight connector must keep the oil flow in the core of the connector of the self-contained oil-filled power cable smooth. However, because the connector is manually operated on site, its process conditions are poor. Therefore, under the condition of crimping for the wire core connection, the problem of electric field concentration at the wire core connection is dealt with by increasing

Precautions for Photovoltaic Cable Irradiation

The properties of low smoke halogen-free flame retardant polyolefin irradiated materials and irradiation processing are special, so the following points should be paid attention to during irradiation: a. check whether the conductor of each cable head is fully grounded before irradiation, and it is strictly prohibited to irradiate the cable without grounding. B. The absorbed dose during irradiation of insulated wire core and sheath layer shall be subject to qualified thermal extension test. c. The surface of the irradiated insulated wire core and sheath layer shall be smooth, free of oil stains, with no obvious difference in color and luster, free of scratches, fluffing, cracking, bubbles and other phenomena, and the printing shall be clear and scratch-resistant. d. When the irradiation speed rises and falls, the traction and take-up speed shall be coordinated with the beam current adjustment action.

How to Improve the Accuracy of Optical Cable Line Fault Location

With the continuous development of the optical fiber and cable market, a large number of optical fiber and cable lines have been laid and used, and in this process, their reliability and safety have attracted more and more attention. Relevant data show that the main reason for the interruption of more than 2/3 optical fiber communication is the failure of optical cable lines. At the moment, how to improve the accuracy of fault location of optical cable line has become the key problem to be solved in optical fiber communication. First of all, understand how to use the instrument, master the use of the instrument, help accurate measurement. 1. Set the parameters of OTDR. When using OTDR test, you must first set the instrument parameters, the most important of which is to set the test

Precautions for Installation and Use of Cable Waterproof Joint

Cable waterproof connector is can be applied to the environment with water, to provide safe and reliable connector joints, one of the most important is to be able to achieve the waterproof effect, then the cable waterproof connector in the installation and use of the process need to pay attention to what? 1, according to the needs of the cable connector model specifications to choose the appropriate connector material, now the cable connector material quality is uneven, but in order to ensure the quality of the cable connector, it is recommended not to covet cheap, it is best to choose the quality of the cable connector manufacturer's material. 2. It is best not to choose rainy days when the cable is connected, because water entering the cable will seriously affect the use of the cable.
