Guda Cable Group

On September 11, a delegation of Thai local government officials, including Nakhon Phanom Province Governor Wanchai Chanpho, Surin Province Governor Pichit Buttan, and Kalasin Province Governor Sanan Pengasong, paid a visit to Guda Cable Group to inspect the integration of big data and manufacturing. They were accompanied by Yang Shenglong, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Anshun Municipal People’s Government, Director of the Municipal Development Research Center, and Director of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, as well as Li Long, Member of the Standing Committee of the Pingba District Party Committee and Executive Deputy District Mayor of the District Government. The delegation was received by Li Haojie, Executive President and General Manager of Guda Cable Group.

The delegation first toured the Guda Group’s exhibition hall, where they listened carefully to a briefing on Guda Cable Group’s digital transformation and applications, its R&D efforts, and its market‑expansion initiatives. At Guda’s digital‑display area, Xu Po, Production Director of Guda Cable Group, presented the company’s “Lean Manufacturing APS Management System,” which is built on big‑data‑driven control principles, as well as Guda’s product‑quality traceability system. Xu Po explained that Guda was the first in China’s cable industry to pilot a quality‑traceability code (Ecode), introducing it across the entire production process in 2019. The company has innovatively applied in‑body marking technology to cable products, establishing standardized metadata for product quality, defining clear traceability workflows, and setting uniform data‑integration protocols—essentially creating an electronic “identity card” for each product. This enables one‑click, mobile‑based traceability of all relevant information throughout the product’s lifecycle, from manufacturing and testing to acceptance and end‑use. Following Xu Po’s presentation, the delegation expressed strong approval and recognition for the deep integration of Guda’s digitalization initiatives with its manufacturing‑process development.

Subsequently, the delegation visited the Guda New Energy cable‑manufacturing workshop, gaining a firsthand impression of Guda’s advanced manufacturing capabilities. They noted that Guizhou’s cutting‑edge digitalization and state‑of‑the‑art production technologies hold significant value and offer valuable lessons for advancing industrial intelligence in our country. They also pledged to further facilitate friendly exchanges and cooperation between relevant enterprises across Thailand and leading Chinese companies such as Guda.

Li Haojie extended a warm welcome to the Thai local government delegation and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to governments at all levels for providing this opportunity to visit and engage with enterprises. He emphasized that Guda will continue to leverage the locational advantages of Guizhou’s National Big Data Center, further deepen and refine its digital transformation, and adopt a “single‑network” development model encompassing R&D, production, marketing, and services. This approach will furnish robust digital support for the company to deepen its presence in the new‑energy market, expand across the national market, and tap into international markets, thereby comprehensively driving cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency gains. Guda is committed to fostering high‑tech, high‑efficiency, high‑quality new‑type productivity, and to steadily and successfully advancing along a path of high‑end, intelligent, and green development.
